CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR HOLIDAY DELIVERY INFORMATION

Keep your little builders busy over the holidays!
Our website is open all summer, and we’ll continue to promptly dispatch your orders on the courier throughout the entire Christmas and New Year period.

Whether you're keeping the kids entertained with holiday projects, getting them involved in family DIY, or picking up a last-minute birthday gift, we’ve got you covered!

Click and collect is also available by prior arrangement from Stanmore Bay, Auckland.

gENERAL Delivery Information

Kids Carpentry Supplies is based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Orders are dispatched from our Auckland base.

Our couriers pick up from us daily Monday to Friday (except on statutory holidays)
We work hard to get your orders out fast! You can expect them dispatched within 2 business days, with most orders sent on their way the following day.

Courier times generally are 1-3 working days within the North Island and 2 - 5 days for the South Island.
Please allow a couple of extra days for delivery to rural addresses.
If there are any delays with the delivery of your order we will endeavour to keep you updated.

Tracking Your Order:

Once the courier has scanned your parcel on-board you will automatically be sent a tracking link for your parcel so you can track its progress.

Please note that we will assist with tracking your delivery, however, we cannot be held responsible for delays once the goods have been handed over to the freight carrier.

Delivery Zones:

Our delivery areas are divided into separate delivery charge zones as shown on the map below.

Please read the map below carefully and ensure you select the correct shipping zone when placing your order.
If your order is being sent to a rural address please select the RURAL option for your zone.
If you select the incorrect zone we may have to cancel your order and ask you to re-submit it with the correct zone - this will cause delays in your order being shipped.


 
 

Signature Required / Authority to Leave Your Delivery:

Your order will be sent via a signature required, tracked courier service. This means that the courier will require someone to be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel.
If you are not home, a card-to-call will be left and you will need to rearrange delivery with the relevant courier company.

If you would like to give the courier permission to leave your parcel without obtaining a signature please let us know when placing your order. You can let us know by leaving a note in the delivery instructions and telling us where you would like the courier to leave it. We recommend choosing a safe place that is not visible from the road.

Po Boxes:

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Order pick up:

We offer a pick up option for local customers. Our pick up point is in Stanmore Bay, on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula in Northern Auckland.
Please note our pick-up point is for pre-ordered & pre-paid items only. Direct purchases are not available.

Pick-ups can usually be accommodated 7 days a week between 9am - 6pm.
Once your order is received we will be in touch via email to arrange a time for collection with you.
If your order is urgent please phone prior & we'll do our best!

Sacks of wood offcuts and Furniture:

Due to the size and weight of our Sacks of Wood Offcuts and Furniture, these incur a higher shipping cost and must be shipped independently from most of our other products. For this reason, the shipping cost is included in the price of the item. You will not be charged an extra delivery fee upon checkout for these items.

When adding these items to your cart please select your correct delivery charge zone as per the map above. If you select the incorrect zone we may have to cancel your order and ask you to re-submit it with the correct zone - this will cause delays in your order being shipped.

International Delivery outside New Zealand:

Please email us if you would like a quote to deliver your order to an address outside of New Zeland.

Purchasing from Kids Carpentry Supplies - Credit card or Direct credit

Products displayed on this site can be purchased securely online via Squarespace eCommerce and Stripe payment with a credit card. By purchasing online you are agreeing to Stripe's terms of use. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfillment.

All goods and services sold by us to you are sold on the terms of trade set out below. We may at any time vary these terms of trade. These terms of trade may not otherwise be varied unless agreed by us in writing. In these terms of trade, references to "we", "our" or "us" are references to Kids Carpentry Supplies and references to "you" and "your" are references to the customer.

Acceptance

You will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms of trade when you confirm an order for goods or services by clicking on the “purchase” button. Once your order has been accepted by us this will constitute a binding contract for the supply of the goods or services on these terms of trade.

Price and Payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include 15% GST. All prices are correct at time of publication; however we reserve the right to alter prices at any time..

For all goods or services ordered by you, you must pay the price for the goods or services specified on our website at the time your order is accepted by us. We may contact you directly to confirm your payment details.

Payments via direct credit: 

If you don't have a credit card or prefer to pay via direct credit then we are happy to send you an invoice. Simply email your order and the following details to sales@kidscarpentry.co.nz

  • How many sacks of wood / bags of nails/ jars of hardware you would like

  • Name of business / person to deliver to

  • Delivery address

  • Any special delivery information such as opening hours/days etc.

  • Email address to send the invoice to

Order and Delivery

Delivery is currently limited to addresses within New Zealand. Please refer to the map below for details of our delivery zones. Please select the correct delivery zone during the checkout process. We reserve the right to cancel your order if an incorrect delivery option is selected.

We will endeavor to deliver goods ordered from us within 2-5 working days for the North Island and 7 working days for the South Island from the date we receive and accept your order. This will be subject to stock availability and independent courier company issues. If we anticipate that you will not receive the goods within that time we will advise the reason for the delay and the likely date of the delivery. We will not be liable for any delays in delivery of goods or services.

We do not currently ship orders placed on this website outside New Zealand. Please contact us for a quote to ship outside of New Zealand,

Property/Risk

Property and risk in goods ordered by you from us will pass to you upon delivery of the goods to your specified delivery address for the relevant order.
